Pre-school
The Pre-school group organised a most enjoyable New Year's Day Brunch at the Bradworthy Inn. The also organised a well supported skittle tournament in the Memorial Hall on 24th. The tournament was won by the Alley Cats, captained by Raymond Furze Esq. The Pre-school would like to thank all those who supported these events.
Twinning Association
On 31st January the Twinning Association organised a Wine and Wisdom to raise funds for administering the link between the village and its twin, Audrieu in Northern France. This year the Twinners are organising a trip to Audrieu leaving Bradworthy Square on Saturday 29th May and returning on 31st-May. Our French counterparts are always most welcoming and hospitable ensuring that our trip is enjoyable and fun. The cost this year, that includes all coach travel and the ferry crossing, is £80.00 for adults and £40.00 for each child. New twinners are always welcome. Please 'phone Shaun Heard at 241537 for more details.
The Pantry
Following the successful launch of 'The Pantry' John and Patsy have franchised the pub catering to Chef Martin and his partner Natalia. Martin and Natalia have moved into the village and, as well as providing traditional pub fare, intend to introduce exotic dishes from around the world. Due to popular demand for their special Valentine's day Dinner, they are taking bookings for Sunday 15th as well as Saturday 14th.
'The Pantry' winter hours are 11.00 am until 4.00 pm. As well as providing refreshments and light meals the Pantry has a wide range of gifts, hand made cards and a display of 'North Devon Pine' furniture.
