Welcome to the September edition of the Bradworthy Newsletter.
When I started The Newsletter I was advised to combine August and September into a summer edition on the basis that there is nothing going on in August and no-one around to read it anyway. In the event the August Bank Holiday was very busy with three most successful days of activities. All three were well attended and enjoyed. Many thanks to the organisers and all that helped make the events happen.
Over the months it has been mentioned that it would be handy if there was a location for dropping off written contributions to the Newsletter. As my wife is Treasurer of the Social Club messages left over the bar counter will reach us fairly quickly. Please do write in with reports of your activities or to publicise future events.
Please send items for October to newsletter@bradworthy.co.uk or 'phone/fax 241147.

Richard and Kelly Hudson would like to thank all those who supported their recent planning application for a development in North Road.
They are pleased to announce that the application has been successful.
Fayre
On Bank Holiday Monday the Fayre Committee organised a fun day in the Square in conjunction with the traditional Bradworthy Inn Beer Festival.
Although only a few contestants entered the Strongest Man event this year over £300.00 was raised to be divided between local charitable groups. The RNLI stall raised over £100.00 for the Lifeboats.
Jamie Clarke was the strongest under 30 and Steve Chiel the strongest over 30.
After the Dog Show on Sunday, Pete Milman organised a Tug of War. Of course the team of strong young men won it but the ladies took the prize for having the most team members and a coach.
